South Huntsville Library is on its way to being a reality!

Demolition is complete and most of the debris has almost been removed from the old Grissom High School site in South Huntsville.  Construction is set to begin once the city council approves the package, which is set for approval in April of this year.  The new library will be approximately 39,000 square feet with meeting rooms, a conference center, a café, and a puppet theater for the kids and of course lots of room for books!  Over $6.6 million has already been raised to fund this massive project with over $833,000 alone coming from Redstone Federal Credit Union. To donate to the foundation go to huntsvillelibraryfoundation.org/south.
